Q: Who is Chicka-tay Inc. ?
A:We are a Native American organization in affiliation with the Chickasaw Nation of Ada, Oklahoma. However, we are based in Denton, Texas and committed to improving the Native American quality of life independent of any specific tribal association. We welcome an association with all organizations who wish to expand their business interests and form alliances with Native American organizations. Our collective experience is with Fortune 100 corporations, US Military, Oklahoma tribes, business consulting firms and government contracting agencies.
Q: What is the core business of Chicka-tay Inc. ?
A:We have Aviation, Consultation and Investment divisions. Our focus is on aviation related products and services to the public and private sectors. We began in 2001 working with the Chickasaw Nation to administer a multi-million dollar military contract on their behalf. Since then, we joined forces with US Aviation Group and cater to the aviation community with respect to flight training, aircraft maintenance, avionics sales & service and aircraft sales.
Q: Why was Chicka-tay Inc. Founded?
A:Responsible corporations and government agencies have long implemented affirmative action plans, diversity initiatives and outreach programs to underrepresented groups and minorities primarily because "…it's the right thing to do." Although we agree with this position, it is a woefully incomplete explanation. The fact is an all-inclusive diversity initiatives program provides a distinct competitive advantage, especially with Native American organizations that enjoy sovereign Nation status. Chicka-tay is a vehicle that enables Native American organizations to form joint ventures with responsible corporations, government agencies and others to leverage this unique competitive advantage to a mutual benefit.
